What We Do at CRHSAP

Photo of HSAP 2015 Graduates

On Tuesday evening, June 16, 2015,  CRHSAP held a beautiful graduation ceremony for our 2015 graduating seniors. Graduates, their families, and friends enjoyed the music of Bob Matthew on acoustical guitar and a heart-felt address from Anne Suggs,  a retiring HSAP Resource Teacher.

We extend our best wishes to each graduate for a successful and fulfilling future!

The Cedar Rapids Home School Assistance Program, CRHSAP...

..started in 1988.  It is a kindergarten through 12th grade education program. Our program provides support and resources to parents who wish to home school their children. Our staff of seven full-time certified teachers support home school families by guiding them in the many decisions needed to give their children the best learning experience possible.  Each teacher brings a different academic strength which makes our program distinctively strong.

Respecting the uniqueness of each family is important to us. By supporting families with educational goals, graduation requirements, professional materials, teaching techniques and curriculum, we become invested in the success of your home school. We are available five days a week to assist in your teaching endeavor.

As you browse our web site, you will see that CR-HSAP offers a variety of educational activities to enrich your home school. You will have regular home visits with your Resource Teacher to discuss questions and needs.  Your Resource Teacher will prepare and present a lesson/activity for your elementary and middle school student(s). In addition, our program offers weekly classes, field trips, home school learning fairs, parent workshops, and much more.

If you would like to know more about our program, please call our office number listed below between 7:20am and 3:20pm.
