The Cedar Rapids Home School Assistance Program, CRHSAP...

..started in 1988.  It is a kindergarten through 12th grade education program. Our program provides support and resources to parents who wish to home school their children. Our staff of nine full-time certified teachers support home school families by guiding them through a myriad of decisions to give their children the best learning experience possible.  Each teacher brings a different academic strength, which makes our program distinctively strong.

Respecting the uniqueness of each family is important to us. By supporting families with educational goals, graduation requirements, professional materials, teaching techniques, and curriculum, we become invested in the success of your home school. We are available five days a week to assist in your teaching endeavor.

As you browse our web site, you will see that CRHSAP offers a variety of educational activities to enrich your home school. You will have regular home visits with your Resource Teacher to discuss questions and needs.  Your Resource Teacher will prepare and present a lesson/activity for your elementary and middle school student(s) and serve as a guidance counselor to students in High School. In addition, our program offers weekly classes, field trips, home school learning fairs, and much more.

If you would like to know more about our program, please call our office number listed below between 8:00am and 2:30pm.
